This sponsorship combines exceptional two entities deeply committed to the arts and discovering new talents and new creations.

Impressive
On the one dimension impressive, 7 meters long, 2.50 metres tall and weighing about 2 tons, the clock is the symbol of technology and know-how exceptional Vacheron Constantin. For those who do not have the chance to attend the Bastille Opera, do not worry, the clock, located at ground floor, is visible from the outside.

Designed by conceptual artist-painter Ivan Moscatelli, this clock "Laudator Temporis" composed of 56 mouth-blown colored glass, was produced by the master glass Werner Weyhe of Lausanne. It represents a very colorful a world map made up of clocks showing the time in major cities around the world: Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Moscow, Beijing, Rio de Janeiro

Backstage
The space is nine times the size of the commodious stage. An entire set can be assembled in the equivalent of six floors below the stage area, readied to be elevated speedily into place in no time.

Installation
> For the installation of this work to the entrance of the Bastille Opera, it has taken for five days, no fewer than five specialists came especially from Switzerland to reconstitute a very careful, the puzzle of this clock arrival of Geneva ( "spare parts" for the purpose of transportation) ... And in order not to disrupt rehearsal shows, the installation took place at night, 1h at 10:30 in the morning.

This operation is a reflection of the commitment of Vacheron Constantin in the cultural field and his desire to become full-fledged patron of the Opera National de Paris. On this occasion, Vacheron Constantin supports, in particular, "Tosca" by Puccini, the first of which took place on October 24, 2007 precisely on the day of the inauguration of the clock.
